OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.
A Sister’s Eulogy for Steve Jobs
By MONA SIMPSON
at the new york times.
as for me... i don't use a mac
but i always have wanted too.
13 years into a career in
illustration
...
wacom tablets
photoshop
quick books
(too many programs to list)
...
i am committed to the PC,
as it is what i know...
it was where i learned.
but perhaps after reading steve jobs eulogy,
i am realizing that one is never to old to
learn new things.
or love a little better.
okay then... go.
go do something new.
i am.
What a gorgeous tribute to a beautiful man. It left me in tears, thanks for sharing.

I am the complete opposite. My husband and I have had Macs since college (the late 80's) except for one short time when I had to be PC compatible for an online master's degree. Currently that means 1 Mac desktop, 1 Macbook, 2 iPhones-I've had one since the beginning- on my 3rd one- and 2 iPod Touches and Apple TV. Nothing works as well and easily as an Apple product.
ReplyDeleteI so loved the Eulogy. Beautiful.
Very moving... thanks for sharing!

I switched to a Mac after using a PC almost my entire life (literally--my dad was in computers, so I grew up with them). It wasn't so bad. And I still use my Wacom on the Mac. :)
